121 Years Young!

2011 marks the 121st anniversary of the founding of Grace parish and the construction & completion of the original stone church--our worship space to this day! As you all know, January 30th marked another milestone, the 118th annual meeting of our parish. We met for a combined celebration of sung Holy Eucharist at 9:30 a.m. followed by the annual meeting and a veritable feast in the parish hall.
The new and returning members of the vestry elected & presented (and officers appointed & elected) that day are as follows: Richard Pagano as Senior Warden, Jeff Neal as Junior Warden, Judy Waldrop as Clerk, Amy Calvani, John Heaton, Jr., Alveretta Hoenicke, Meg Milligan, Linda Pruit and Dean Ricer. Additionally, the three candidates elected as Diocesan Convention delegates are Franni Neal, Kathy Milton and Sue Pagano (alternate). Let us give thanks to God for all his goodness and loving-kindness to our parish family, and give him thanks for providing our parish with such wonderful leadership to take us into 2011 and beyond!
