Sacramental Tradition

Our liturgical rites are found in the timeless expressions of The Book of Common Prayer which has formed and enriched the worship of the Episcopal Church for centuries.

We lift our praise to God each week with transcendent music which embraces the full depth and height of the Christian faith, while also offering opportunities for quiet contemplation of those same mysteries.

King of glory, King of Peace, I will love thee; Seven whole days, not one in seven, I will praise thee; Small it is in this poor sort to enroll thee; e’en eternity’s too short to extol thee. (George Herbert, 1593-1633)

Almighty God, to you all hearts are open, all desires known, and from you no secrets are hid: Cleanse the thoughts of our hearts by the inspiration of your Holy Spirit, that we may perfectly love you, and worthily magnify your holy Name; through Christ our Lord. Amen. (Book of Common Prayer p. 355)
